I love going to workout classes because of the social setting and its more motivating to me. Since we’ve been staying at home and the gyms have closed I’ve found it hard to get myself motivated in the same way. I decided to make this fun video to motivate myself and you guys to maintain your health while staying at home. It’s a combination of fashion and fitness. For these looks I wanted to share to to style the same pieces in multiple ways. Usually I start with a pair of leggings and pair different tops with it that are within matching color tones. Below I’ll break down each look. All of the outfits are shop-able with the provided affiliate links.
Look 1
For this look I’m wearing these navy ribbed leggings from Year of Ours. I love how they have a nontraditional tulip waistband. They are a 7/8th cut on me and I wear xs in them. I paired it with a longline bra from Year of Ours that is also in a ribbed material. There is no padding so I wear it with nipple covers. I went up one size in the bra top to size small.
Look 2
For the second look I’m wearing the same leggings but switched out the top for more coverage. I recently got this top and I am so happy with it. Its the Alo Ribbed support tank and it has a built in bra with removable cups which over great support. I went up one size in the top to a small because it was quite compressive. Also I’m sharing my favorite sports water bottle here. Its stainless steel so it doesn’t develop odors and its completely spill proof in your bad and the opening is small enough that you wont spill on yourself if you take a drink while on the treadmill.
Look 3
This matching set is so fun and I love the color. The leggings are a 7/8th length and the entire set is also a ribbed material. The pants are not see through on me either. I got the xxs in the pants and the xs in the top. The top is a little tight and has a built in shelf bra but no padding. It was my first time trying some pieces from Carbon38 and I really like them so far. I also appreciate the coverage from this outfit, It covers my stomach and only a little shows sometimes when I move so thats perfect for me.
Look 4 and 5
I love a good matching set but it’s also important that I can be able to wear the pieces as separates, especially when the price point is high. here I am wearing the same pants from the previous look but I paired it with a reversible top. It’s actually a great option because you can decide how much coverage you want and also if you have some mid or low rise pants you can flip the top. Also I would pair this top with a white spots bra underneath for added coverage and support because it is very light and slightly shear.
Look 6
I had to include some look wearing classic black leggings because half the time that is what i’m wearing. I love the high waisted live in leggings from Zella that Nordstrom carries. They don’t collect as much lint and hair and don’t pill. I’ve had these for about 2 years now and wear them several times a week. I take the size xxs and choose the full length option that hits at my ankles. This is a fun top that ties in the back and is mostly covered but shows a little bit of back when you move. See my video for an example.
Look 7
For the final look I’m wearing the same black leggings but I paired it with a cropped tie front tank. This is a nice light option to keep you cool and to show off the high waist. I always prefer to keep my belly button covered. I wear this kind of look to spin class. This grey tank goes great with a sports bra underneath or with any other shade of leggings. Also I linked my favorite sports shoes here. These APL sneakers are amazingly comfortable and run true to size. They are a but of a splurge so I only wear them indoors and to and from classes but not on long walks. Also occasionally you can find them on sale at ShopBop, which is how I got mine.
