They didn’t say ‘when in doubt, wear red’ for nothing.
LBD might be the crown jewel of sexy dresses but a bold red dress is what turns heads and puts the pizazz in a party. Black may make you feel sleeker but that striking red will make you catch every eye. Want to look royal? Wear red. Want to be the center of attention? Wear red. Want to make your SO fall in love with you all over again? You guessed it, wear red. Red is the color of love, luck, and passion. Wearing red is a power move and I made mine with my Valentine’s Day-approved red bodysuit.
This bodysuit top is from rue21 and one of my proud purchases this season. Firstly, because of that stunning, rich color. Synonymous to brands like Christian Louboutin and Valentino, red has something magical about it. It suits every complexion and gives you a certain glow. Secondly, this bodysuit stays tucked in nicely to help me look sleek. Thirdly, it was incredibly affordable. Despite being only for $15, it is an absolute scene-stealer. I also love the long sleeves and the perfect fit it offers. The material is velvety soft and keeps me snug.
I paired the red bodysuit with high-waisted leather pants to turn the ‘sexy’ up a notch. It worked and I was up for a super sleek look. The cherry on top of this already fabulous look was the luxurious LV Logomania scarf. Woven with the warmest wool and the softest silk, the scarf comes in four gorgeous colors. I went for the ruby red for its versatility. The scarf features giant versions of the iconic LV monogram pattern and house initials. The Logomania scarf around your neck and you’re set for even the coldest day of winter.
Lastly, instead of carrying something heavy, I went with the cute and tiny Chanel card holder in black color. It’s super easy to carry, thanks to its chain-link and leather strap and features the modern gold/ruthenium hardware and bold CC logo. Wearing a small card holder also gave my red bodysuit the room to shine through without distractions.
