While I love treating myself to dressy clothing, somedays, elaborate style takes a backseat and comfort becomes a priority. Besides, when the fall weather is wonderfully crisp, you should be spending less time scratching your head in front of the closet and more time sipping a cup of hot cocoa. But that doesn’t mean you should kick style completely out of the picture. Style, I believe, resides within each of us. It’s the way we carry even the simplest of outfits and how we present ourselves. The trick is to stock up on easy pieces that don’t require a lot of styling struggle. I got this baby blue cashmere hoodie with the same thought in mind.
This cashmere hoodie is easily my best purchase for an effortless fall outfit. I could live in it the whole season. Reason? So many. It’s soft and snuggly. The high-quality tight-knit cashmere material is thick enough to get me even through the coldest days with a little layering underneath. It could be dressed both up and down. Whether you want to throw it on for a quick grocery run or style it for a casual date, it’s a cute piece for both occasions. Besides, the baby blue color complements my eyes nicely.
I paired the cashmere hoodie with washed denim pants for an all-blue look. I love the hue for its calming nature and also because it acts almost as a neutral. For shoes, I went with white booties to create a balanced and well-rounded look. Bright white also gives a nice contrast against the blue. Lightly padded, these ankle booties feature an almond-toe silhouette and look chic with most of my outfits.
The shiniest star of this look, however, is the Chanel Mini Coco Handle Flap Bag in light grey color. I’m a handbag hoarder and while I love all my babies, this one is extra special. It’s super cute and roomy enough for all my daytime essentials. Despite its small size, it makes a big statement with its quilted grained caviar leather and signature CC turn-lock closure. There’s a top handle if you want to carry it formally and a light gold chain-link shoulder strap for easy wear. In addition to the partitioned interior, there’s also a zipper pocket inside to keep items you fear might slip out.
